Osinachi: Court Sends Husband To Kuje Prison, To Await Trial

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has sent Osinachi’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu to Kuje prison.

Justice N.K. Nwosu-Iheme, the presiding judge gave the order after he pleaded not guilty to 23 counts bordering on domestic violence and homicide, among others.

Justice Nwosu-Iheme ordered that the suspect be remanded at the correctional facility, while the trial was adjourned to June 16 from 12pm and June 17 by 9 am.

“The business for today is for arraignment, accelerated hearing is hereby ordered. The judge declared.

“Defendant should be remanded in Kuje Correctional Facility pending the hearing and determination of this suit.”

Recall, that the gospel singer had died on April 8, and her husband who has been accused of alleged domestic violence was arrested for her death.
